PHOTOELASTIC COATINGS MEASUREMENT METHOD BASED ON MOLECULAR LUMINESCENCE

摘要:在简单介绍分子荧光产生过程的基础上,系统介绍了新的光弹性涂层方法------发光光弹性涂层法的基本原理、涂层结构、系统组成及实验方法.由于新方法采用了气雾剂技术, 并通过在光弹性涂层中添加荧光染料,使新方法与传统的光弹性涂层方法相比, 具有如下优点: (1)更简单、快捷,特别是对于有复杂几何形状的构件; (2)只会引起较小的基底加强效应;(3)能提供更高的空间分辨率; (4)省去了条纹计数和位相去包裹的过程,简化了后续的数据处理过程; (5)发光涂层的发射光是漫射光,使得对曲面进行测量时有较高的相对强度.最后指出了新方法今后的研究方向及其在诸如产品设计流程中与有限元分析相结合等方面的广阔应用前景.Abstract:Based on a briefintroduction of the principle of molecular luminescence, a newmethod of luminescent photoelastic coating (LPC) is presented, andits basic measurement principle, coating configurations,components of the system and experimental process are elaborated.By using aerosol techniques and appending fluorescent dyes tophotoelastic coating, the LPC method has the following advantagesover the traditional reflective photoelastic coatings (RPC):(1)The implementation of LPC is much easier and quicker than that ofRPC, especially for specimens having complex geometries;(2) Theluminescent coating lead to less substrate reinforcement effectthan the reflective coating;(3) LPC provides higher spatialresolution;(4) LPC makes data post-processing easier byeliminating the need for fringe counting and phase unwrapping;(5) The emission of luminescent coatings is diffusive one whichleads to higher relative intensity when measurements are carriedout on oblique surfaces. Finally, the future research direction ofthis new experimental method is suggested together with itspotential applications to the product design cycle in conjunctionwith Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
