RECENT DEVELOPMENT ON FROST ACTION STUDY OF SOILS

About two thirds of total area in China are located in the seasonally frost and permafrost regions. The physico-mechanical properties of soils in the regions will be changed frequently due to the periodic variation of climate which makes engineering projects suffer heavy frost damage.
