  • This paper gives a brief overview of the history of the progress of dislocation theory and its studies in China, the application of dislocation theory,and the typical dislocation configurations in metals. The synergetics concept applied to dislocation research, and some of recent results obtained in HCP titanium and zirconium are also introduced.
