In recent years, researchers have paid attention to the investigation of multiaxial low cycle fatigue. Fatigue damage cumulation, crack initiation and life prediction under multiaxial low cycle fatigue differ from those under uniaxial low cycle fatigue.Recent advances of multiaxial low cyclic fatigue are presented in the paper. Various evaluations of multiaxial low cycle fatigue life are discussed, and the emphasis is on the low cycle fatigue under nonproportional loading.
