ADAPTABILITY AND EVALUATION METHOD OF PIPELINE MATERIALS IN HYDROGEN BLENDED NATURAL GAS PIPELINE NETWORK
Abstract
Hydrogen that is blended into natural gas can be transported effectively by the existing pipeline network, but it will bring safety risks to the pipeline. The types, adaptability, influencing factors and evaluation methods of metal and non-metal materials in hydrogen-doped transport pipelines are discussed in this paper. It is urgent to improve and utilize the existing macroscopic performance characterization and microscopic mechanism analysis methods of metal and non-metallic materials, and establish the adaptability evaluation method and evaluation limit requirements of hydrogen-doped transport pipeline, combined with the actual working environment and the key performance index of the materials, and improve the actual hydrogen blending test operation evaluation methods and criteria. This paper can be used as an important reference for the hydrogen-blended projects in the future.
