MAGNETOHYDRODYNAMIC PIPE FLOW IN A DUCT WITH ELLIPTIC CROSS SECTION

The analytic solution is obtained to the problem of the steady one-dimension-al flow of an incompressible, viscous, .electrically conducting fluid through a pipe with elliptic cross section, in the presence pf an applied transverse uniform magnetic field. A no-slip condi-tion on the velocity is assumed at the non-conducting wall
