AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF DYNAMIC BEHAVIOR OF STRUCTURES UNDER IMPACT LOADS
The dynamic behavior of arches, frames, and shallow spherical shells under concentrated impact loads at high rate of strain is examined using a split Hopkinson Pressure Bar (SHPB), apparatus. Some new phenomenon is observed at different strain rates.
