INTERACTION OF VORTICES WITH THE SEA-WATER SURFACE
Abstract
he finite-difference solutions of Navier-Stokes equations are employed to inves-tigate the inetraction between a submerged vortex pair and the sea-water surface。The initialstate of the vortex model is Oseen vortex。Numerical simulations describe the evolution ofthe seawater surface and vorticity field in the interaction process。The effects of Reynoldsnumber,Koude number,and weber number on the surface deformation are discussed。
