A CYLINDRICAL INTERFACE CRACK IN FIBER REINFORCED COMPOSITES
Abstract
The problem of a cylindrical interface crack is reduced to a system of singular integral equations with the aid of two unknown dislocation functions at the interface crack surface. By using Muskhelishvili theory of singular integral equations, the interface stress field at the tips of the composites cylindrical interface is worked out. The stress singularity at the interface crack tips is determined in which two cases are considered, i.e....
